The Hurun Research Institute released the Global Unicorn Index 2021, a ranking of the world’s start-ups founded in the 2000s, worth at least a billion dollars and not yet listed on a public exchange. The cut-off date used was 30 November 2021. Below are the 39 Unicorn companies based in the UK that made it onto the Global Index this year. Hurun Research has been tracking unicorns in China since 2017 and the world since 2019.
