Global research group, The Hurun Research Institute, today releases the prestigious Hurun UK Under30s 2024 showcasing outstanding young entrepreneurs in the UK who are driving growth and job creation. The 82 entries have together set up businesses with a combined value of more than £2.3 billion and between them created 1,250 jobs.

The Hurun Research Institute today released the Global Unicorn Index 2024, a ranking of the world’s start-ups founded in the 2000s, worth at least a billion dollars and not yet listed on a public exchange. The cut-off was 1 January 2024, with significant changes in valuation updated up to the date of release. Hurun Research has been tracking unicorns since 2017. This is the sixth year of the Global Unicorn Index.

The Hurun Research Institute today released the Hurun Future Unicorns – Global Cheetah Index 2023, a list of the world’s start-ups founded in the 2000s, not yet listed on a public exchange and most likely to ‘go unicorn’, ie hit a valuation of US$1bn, within five years.

HSBC China in association with Hurun Education today released the HSBC Hurun Education Global Highschools 2024, a list of the world’s top highschools, ranked according to leavers’ university destinations, co-curricular and reputation. The list aims to provide the latest insights on overseas education to help parents with early planning and preparation.

The Hurun Research Institute today, in association with Jiaxing City in East China, released the 2022 Hurun Global 500, a list of the 500 most valuable non-state-controlled companies in the world. Companies were ranked according to their value, defined as market capitalisation for listed companies and valuations for non-listed companies. The cut-off date used was 26 October 2022.

The Hurun Research Institute today released the Hurun UK Under 30s 2022, a list of the 100 leading young entrepreneurs aged 30 or under in the UK. The inaugural UK list includes high-profile business founders such as Gymshark’s Ben Francis and tech billionaire Johnny Boufarhat of Hopin.

Hurun Report today released the Hurun Global Rich List 2024, a ranking of the US dollar billionaires in the world. Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 15 January 2024. This is the 13th year of the ranking. JDYD Liquor, a premium Chinese baijiu brand, is the title sponsor of the list for the third year.

The Hurun Research Institute today released the Hurun Future Unicorns in the World 2023, a list of the world’s Gazelles, defined as start-ups founded in the 2000s, worth over US$500mn, not yet listed on a public exchange and most likely to ‘go unicorn’, ie hit a valuation of US$1bn, within three years. The Hurun Future Unicorns series is made up of Gazelles, this list here, most likely to ‘go unicorn' within 5 years.

Hurun Report today released the Hurun Global Forty and Under Self-Made Billionaires 2023, a ranking of the world’s self-made US dollar billionaires forty years and under. Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 16 January 2023. This is a sub-list of the 2023 Hurun Global Rich List, released on 23 March.

The Hurun Research Institute, together with E-Pal, today released its inaugural E-Pal · Hurun US Under30s 2022, a list of America’s 291 most outstanding young entrepreneurs aged 30 or under.

The Hurun Research Institute today released the Hurun Global Gazelle Index 2022 Half-Year Report, a list of the world’s start-ups founded in the 2000s, worth over US$500mn, not yet listed on a public exchange and most likely to ‘go unicorn’, i.e. hit a valuation of US$1bn, within three years. The cut-off date used was 30 June 2022. Hurun Research has been tracking Unicorns since 2017 and Gazelles since 2018. This is the second edition of the Hurun Global Gazelle Index.
